Ke$ha's Shocking Tale: She Was Born With A Tail |
Looks like Ke$ha really is an animal. In an exclusive interview with Heat, the singer revealed on Wednesday that she was actually born with a tail.
But don't start picturing a tail of the cheetah print variety that she's been known to sport at her concerts and other public appearances. Ke$ha's real tail was a small piece of bone that stuck out of her back, à la Jason Alexander's character in Shallow Hal. As Ke$ha stated in the interview, "I had a tail when I was born. It was a tiny tail, about a quarter of an inch, then they chopped it off and stole my tail. That was when I was little. I'm really sad about that story."
We can't help but admit that this bizarre revelation makes us chuckle a bit, mostly because we aren't surprised. All jokes aside, vestigiality of the coccyx (i.e. being born with a tail) is a real condition that affects a small percentage of the world population, so Ke$ha's open revelation she was born with a vestigial tail is yet another example of her efforts to empower people with characteristics that may make them feel like outcasts. We r who we r indeed.
