After the success of ‘Paiyaa’ and with the latest release of ‘Naan Mahan Alla’, hero Karthi is keen on working for his next project ‘Siruthai’ which is being directed by cameraman Siva who is making his debut with the film.
The film has completed 70 percent of its shooting and currently shooting in various locations of Tamilnadu and Karnataka. The scenes involving the police officer role are being canned across the thick rooted locations of Hubli. The film features white milky beauty Tamannaah opposite Karthi for the second time after Paiyaa.
The film is said to be a remake of Ravi Teja starrer Telugu block buster film ‘Vikramarkudu’. The Tamil version casts Santhanu in the role of Brahmanandam who played in the original.
