Yes she changed her mind by becoming Brand Ambassador of designer collection of pothys, She Signed her first endorsement deal for record price. Pothys is one of the biggest textile showrooms in south.
Earlier the actor believed that people should come to theaters to watch her. She did not want to dilute her uniqueness and sensation around her. This strategy worked well to her. Nayan had never done any advertisements so far and she politely refused offers that came to her.
But now Nayan has changed her mind and signed this deal. It is not officially confirmed by Nayan but sources close to textile shop say. “ Nayanthara is the biggest brand in all the four major southern states, where we have showrooms. She will be endorsing our Diwali 2010 collections of designer sarees and with the festival of lights around the corner; we want to cash in on her popularity and reach among family audiences”.
From sources we also know that the ad will be shot by Enthiran fame cameraman Ratnavel and AL Vijay’s assistant Shankar is going to direct this ad.
